25th IUA European Chapter Congress

Porto welcomes the 25th European Chapter Congress of IUA

The International Union of Angiology has been monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic situation and its impact upon travel and meetings. Our top priority is the health and safety of all our associates.

Considering the current recommendations issued by the different Health Authorities all over the world we have decided to run the IUA Porto EuroChapter meeting, October 8-9, as an online edition.

We are planning to have an amazing Faculty of internationally recognized angiology, phlebology and vascular specialists to present their personal experiences, guidelines, controversies and ongoing original clinical research.

The online sessions will last 60 minutes, including 5-minutes pre-recorded talks and 5-minutes for Q&A.

Please find below some useful information:

Your Registration

Please confirm that you have received by e-mail your registration and that status is confirmed.
In case not, please contact our secretariat (cristina.freitas@byms.pt).
Without the status confirmed, it’s not possible to assist the Sessions.
Certificate of presence will be sent after the Congress to all participants with presence registered during the 2 days congress.
Times are in WEST (Porto, Portugal time).

Access to the Sessions

Access should be done through the Private Area – right corner up menu.
Login using you e-mail and password (access data at the bottom registration e-mail)
Acceding to the Private Area, on Video Conferences Menu, you’ll find all Sessions of the Congress.
Select the Session, remain in waiting room, and as soon as the Session starts, you’ll be able to assist.
At the end, you should move for the next Session and do the same procedure.

If you cannot find your password, please recover it in Private Area, recover access.

Exhibition Area

Don’t miss the opportunity to visit the Exhibition Area and to learn more from our Sponsors.
Stands and interactive files are waiting for you in your Private Area (available on the 08^th and 09^th October).

Submission Method

All abstracts must be submitted via e-mail to cristina.freitas@byms.pt.
All correspondence concerning the abstract will be sent to submitting author’s e-mail address.
Submission Deadline – 15^th August 2021.

Authors will be notified about the delivery of their abstract by e-mail until 48 hours after. In case you will not receive confirmation within 48 hours, please contact the secretariat.
First author needs to be registered on the Congress on the moment of submission.

Acceptance will be notified by 31^st August.

Your Registration

Registration fee is 100,00€
Fee includes - access to online Sessions, to virtual Exhibithion Area, E-Poster Galery and Presence Certificate.
Presence Certificate will be available exclusively for participants with presence registered at online Sessions

after submiting your registration, you'll receive an automatic e-mail with data for payment by bank transfer.
please submit the proof of payment by e-mail, with information of your registration ID.
your registration will be completed and confirmed after the payment being received.
